SSI advanced FREEDIVER freediving COURSE

This is an advanced freediving course for those who want to get deeper on the freediving knowledge and to improve the swimming pool and depth freediving techniques.

PREVIOUS REQUIREMENTS

To enroll in this SSI Advanced Freediver, PSS Advanced Freediver or AIDA 3* freediving course is necessary to be certified as a SSI Freediver (or equivalent) and to have a minimum of six freediving logged sessions.

OBJECTIVES OF THE advanced FREEDIVER APNEA COURSE

During the Advanced Freediving course we do theory, practice in the swimming pool and practice in the sea. During the theory we will get deeper in the physics and the physiology about the freediving. Thanks to this new knowledge we will be able to learn new freediving techniques, such as the Free Falling (one of the most amazing feelings in freediving). During the practice sessions in the swimming pool we will improve the techniques from the Level 1 (STA and DYN) and, once in the sea, we will practice the new Free Falling techniques.

The goal of the course will be to achieve a Static (STA) of 2'5 minutes, a Dynamic freediving (DYN) of 50m long and a Constant Weight freedive (CWT) between 20 and 30 meters of depth.

During the SSI Advanced Freediver freediving course we leave you all the equipment. Just focus on enjoying your freedive course and learning.

DURATION OF THE advanced FREEDIVER FREEDIVING COURSE

The SSI Advanced Freediver freediving course lasts 3 days, which can be during the week or weekend.

If you choose the Advanced Freediver XL course, the duration will be 4 days, since we add two additional in-depth sessions, so that you finish the course with even better preparation.

There is also the possibility of taking the course privately. In this case, the duration will depend on the needs and objectives of the person taking the course.

LASSDIVE freediving CENTERS

At Lassdive we provide all freediving training in the facilities of our freediving centers in Empuriabrava, in the heart of the Costa Brava, Girona, with the Cap de Creus Natural Park as an immersion area, and at the Club Nàutic Garraf, a a few minutes from Barcelona city, with the Costa del Garraf Natural Park as an immersion area, unless we specify another location in our course calendar.

AND AFTER THE advanced FREEDIVER COURSE?

Once you finish the Advanced Freediver or Advanced Freediver XL freediving course, you will obtain an international SSI certification that will allow you to train freediving in any freediving center in the world.

Finishing this course with all the requirements will give you the opportunity to access the freediving specialty courses of Monofin, Dynamic No Fins (DNF), Training Tables, Free Immersionn (FIM), Freediving Techniques for Spearfishing, Variable Weight freediving (VWT), Constant Weight with No Fins (CNF) and Surf Survival, our survival course for surfers, besides letting you access the Freediving Performance Freediver course.
