Freediving in Barcelona with Lassdive
Consecutive SSI freediving level 1 and level 2 courses
As it could not be otherwise, we begin the new season 2017 in Lassdive coordinating and celebrating a freediving course in Barcelona.
Our group of freediving instructors has moved to Barcelona this week to provide an SSI level 1 and level 2 freediving course.
There are many who decide to undertake both levels in a consecutive way since once they have passed level 2 there are more specialties that you can access: Monofin, Dynamic No Fins (DNF), Training Tables, Free Immersion (FIM), Freediving Techniques for Spearfishing, Freediving Variable Weight (VWT), Constant Weight with No Fins (CNF) and Surf Survival, the surfer survival course created by Lassdive - Freedive l'Estartit.
Among the students we have fishermen, surfers, students without previous experience who want experience how to breath without a bottle, and even expert scuba divers who seek how to reduce the oxygen consumption of their dives.
Despite being in March and challenging the temperature of the Mediterranean water, students, after passing the theory sessions where they learn the most innovative and basic techniques to practice freedive safely, go to the pool and sea to put into practice and train what they have been learned. One more challenge for Lassdive - Fredive l'Estartit school, which does not hesitate to offer training and courses anywhere in the world. This time it has been close to home, a freediving course in Barcelona, a few kilometers from our center of l'Estartit, Costa Brava.
