Winter Scuba Diving

Diving in Costa Brava all year round

Diving in winter? Of course! Costa Brava has a privileged location bathed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean. Thanks to this, the water temperature is ideal for scuba diving even in winter. The average water temperature is around 18º, being around 14º in winter and rising to more than 26º in summer, allowing the use of the 5mm suit for most of the year, reserving the 7mm for winter and / or dry suit for long-term dives.

The Costa Brava is a claim for scuba diving enthusiasts: calm and clear waters, mild temperatures and lots of underwater life.

In our diving spots, in coves of Begur and La Escala, you can enjoy various dives adapted to all levels of diving, such as marine reserves, sunken ships, caves and coves with calm waters. Some of the coves are protected from the wind so that allows you to enjoy quiet dives at any time of the year.
